PostSubject: Germany’s re-emergence in watchmaking article   Tue Sep 02, 2014 8:34 pm

Just saw this neat article over at A Timely Perspective about the watch industry over in Germany, and how the
country's watch industry has become so strong once again. It shows the roller coaster ride that a lot of brands
went through over the years, and how they re-emerged stronger than ever after the reunification of East and
West Germany. The article talks about the importance of Glashutte, Saxony, along with many different brands
like Glashutte Original, Sinn, and Muehle-Glashutte.

Later in the week they will be talking about brands like A. Lange & Sohne, Nomos, and Tutima as well, but
until then here is the first article for you guys...

The next article is up today, and is about affordability, and how Nomos makes their own in-house movements.
They focus in on the Zurich Welzeit in it. Hope you enjoy everybody...
