| Ooh nice you guys ! What a Wednesday !!! Darius, this has to be one of Renatos nicest combos ever. There's that black IP, mixed with carbon fiber that gives such a neat effect, but also one of the most beautiful, and electric dials here also. Has to be a favorite here sir, right? Love how Borealis can deliver such terrific looks, but evidently quality too Bill. You not only get that beautiful high end design, along with all of the bells, and whistles with detail. Then 2000 meter WR ! ..Wow, is that correct there sir? Yet another beauty for Red October Gary. Think it's something just how many cool, and unusual Russian watches there are. They all seem fantastic ! Must be hard to choose a favorite brand among them, but do you have one by chance? ____________________________________ | |

Must be hard to choose a favorite brand among them, but do you have one by chance? I would have to say Poljot/Aviator/Volmax makes some of the coolest nicest designs that are 'normal' watches. Vostok is like the Russian Timex, their watches are OK quality wise, built to last 20 years then be thrown away, prices are great, the dials are sometimes historical and sometimes fun to wear. Not a big fan of Slava, Raketa, and some of the others (Not sure why). ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... Love the way you explain, as well as categorize the different brands, and even give us your favorites. There really are so many terrific Russian watches out there it seems, and you have a ton of them. I like how each brand stands out, and also stands apart from other Russian brands with the own individual styles. Really is neat ! Thanks once again sir ! ____________________________________ | |
