MINUS-8 watches Empty
PostSubject: MINUS-8 watches   MINUS-8 watches Icon_minitimeFri Nov 07, 2014 3:48 pm

Just saw these watches from a brand called Minus-8 over at Ablogtowatch being given away in a give-a-way,
and had never heard of them guys. So decided to take a further look into them.

Minus-8 is based in San Francisco, and their watches are inspired by the west coast, and get their name from
the GMT-8 Timezone. They have created four models that include the Layer 24, Layer, Edge, and Zone. Each
watch has 45 mm cases except for the Edge which is 44 mm. Cases come in PVD stainless steel, as do the dials,
and the crystals are sapphire also. Water resistance is 10 ATM, and there are special proprietary silicone straps
made for each watch. Movements include the automatic Miyota 9120 for the Layer 24, the Seiko NH35A automatic
for the Layer, Seiko VD55B quartz chrono for the Edge, and Miyota 2035 quartz for the Zone.
