Hey everyone, ever hear of Filson watches before? Clinton C. Filson actually began outfitting outdoorsman
back in the late 1800's, early 1900's. ..Making tough clothing for everyone from explorers, and engineers,
to miners, mariners, hunters, and more. Now the company, which is still based in Seattle Washington has
added watches into the fold.
With help from sister company Shinola watches, Filson has come up with four watches that come in several
different variations. There is the Mackinaw Field, and Field Chronographs, along with Journeyman GMT, and
Chronograph.
The Mackinaw has a 43 mm case, that comes all stainless, gunmetal, and even brass PVD finishes. With
various dial choices with SuperLuminova markers, and hands, sapphire crystals, 20 ATM WR, Argonite 715,
and 5030D Shinola quartz movements, brass case-backs, stainless steel bracelet, USA-made bridle leather
straps, and more.
The Journeyman has a 44 mm stainless steel case in brushed stainless steel, or matte black, and brass
finishes. With multiple color dial choices that have SuperLuminova hands, and markers, curved sapphire
crystals, 20 ATM WR, Argonite 515.24H, and 5030D quartz movements, brass cae-backs, and choice of
Bridle USA-made leather straps, or stainless steel bracelets once again.
