Swatch Group's 2018 connected watch plans

Hey everyone, looks like Swatch has big plans for the upcoming years with connected watches.
Swatch Group, and CSEM, or Swiss center for Electronics and Microtechnology just evidently
announced that they have been collaborating once again to create a Swiss made "ecosystem".
for "connected objects." Which looks to include an "operating system, integrated data processing,
and transmission circuits, transmission circuits, and development tools enhanced to increase
security, and boost self-sufficiency."

In addition, the new system is supposed to protect it's data, be very durable, and use Bluetooth
for transmission. With Swatch contributing a lot of it's expertise in integrated circuits, and also
micro batteries through off shoot companies Renata, and EM Microelectronic guys.
