- Picked up a new Timex Archive Navi Ocean!
Ooh neat Gary !!! What a fantastic find, and pick-up sir !!! Never have actually seen this particular model to tell you the truth. So thanks a lot ! You really have to hand it to Timex in how they are always able to stand out from the crowd. I mean it can be in timeless designs, or uniquely cool ones. ..You know Timex will do something special ! This beauty feels vintage honestly, but then you notice the bold hands, and numbering, and unbelievably nice bezel ! Yowza, and how about the NATO Gary?!! ..Even box?!! A giant congratulations there to you !!! Enjoy this G !!! ____________________________________

| Hey Thanks Tom! I saw one on WUS the other day and had to check out the collection. The Archive series seems to be hidden on the Timex website, and there are no discounts you can use right now. http://www.timex.com/archive/watches/collections/pioneers/Also the straps are very special...The Timex Archive straps are created in Italy on mechanical looms. Woven with unique structures for extra durability and refined style. With research and manufacturing know-how we have been able to develop innovative yarn dying treatments and stone-washed processes. Delivering you original finishes with the quality expected from an artisan see video: https://youtu.be/9bE4IrMBxLAif link is not working go here http://www.timex.com/archive/the-project/ and video link is at bottom page. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... Don't mention it Gary ! Yowza, and thank you too for the terrific insight into these ultra nice Timex's here sir. Thought they were special, and then after seeing, and reading more. Think they are even cooler !!! Can't get enough of the video you posted either with the strap making, and everything. ..You know I am not sure I ever even saw how Nato straps were actually made before. It makes me even like Natos more, and Timex more to be honest !!! Thanks so much for all of the great information G !!! Darius, looks like you are starting the week off there in style too !!! Yet another outstanding Stuhrling D !!! Loved seeing the gold finish model the other day, and now seeing the stainless version is off the charts cool today ! I remember when you picked these two up last year, and how it was tough picking a favorite. ..The way Stuhrling was able to capture both a traditional, yet somehow futuristic vibe with these was just the best I think. Beautiful sir !!! Just the open heart alone here is excellent Darius !!! ____________________________________ | |

Just the open heart alone here is excellent Darius !!! Thanks Tom! SO watches generally don't do anything for me, however, when I saw these they were an instant hit with me and had to have them both. A friend of mine bought one on a leather strap at the same time. Unfortunately I need to sell some watches in the near future and one or both of these will probably be hitting the chopping block. SMH These are the only SO that I own, I used to have a Madman but that hit the block quite a while back. ____________________________________
