PostSubject: Timex and SilMach to build new type of movement   Tue Jun 27, 2017 1:18 pm

Did you guys happen to hear this very cool, and interesting news about Timex?

Evidently Timex is working with France's Micro-Electro-mechanical Systems experts
SilMach to create a new type of movement. SilMach uses "nano technology", and can
produce very small mechanical parts often made of silicon. Which can be more durable,
and use less power than metal. Now Timex, and SilMach look to use MEMS technology
not only with their own watches, but for other watch company's quartz movement
watches, and smartwatches.
