Looks like Montblanc has been having a lot of fun at SIHH this year guys.
We saw their new 1858 Automatic Chronograph, but did you also have a
chance to see the1858 Geosphere? Or Pocket Watch?
The Geosphere celebrates the Seven Summit mountaineering challenge
where climbers from around the world ascend the highest mountains on
each continent.
With just some of the specifications including a 42mm stainless steel, or
bronze case, 100m WR, AR coated sapphire crystal, bi-directional steel,
or bronze bezel with black ceramic, knurled finishing, a black dial with
beige numbers, markings, and hands with Super-Luminova, eye-catching
globes with red dots revealing the seven summits.
In addition, you have a cool leather bund strap, or regular leather strap with
the bronze version, and black NATO, and leather strap with the stainless model.
With both watches having the Montblanc Cal. 26 jewel MB 29.25 behind it all.
Have a look...
Then Montblanc continues to honor the 160th anniversary of Minerva Watches
with the 1858 Pocket Watch. Another watch that also has an adventurous spirit,
and ties into mountain climbing. With details like a 60mm titanium case, and
something called a lanyard system that allows the pocket watch to become a
wrist watch, 30m WR, a blue bumortierite stone dial with beige Super-Luminova
markers, and numbers, and highly visible red, and white hands, and special
leather straps. With Montblanc's manual winding 22 jewel MB M16.24 there
keeping everything moving.
Just a few pics...
