Did you guys have a chance to check out these new watches from Alpina?

Their new Shadow collection looks to include three Startimer Pilot Automatics,
and two Startimer Big Date quartz chronographs. Not to mention, an Alpiner 4
Automatic too.

With the Startimer Pilot Automatic you have 44mm PVD black, or rose gold
coated cases, and neat sunray gray, or blue dials with luminous hands, and
markers, connected leather e-straps, engraved case-backs with the AL-525
automatic hehind everything.

Then with the Startimer Pilot Chronograph Big Date quartz Shadow models
you also have 44mm PVD cases, but only with black PVD this time. Along
with luminous hands, and markes, leather e-straps, AL-372 calibre quartz
movement, and more.

Last, but not least, the Alpiner 4 Shadow with details like a black PVD 44mm
stainless steel case, 100M WR, black sunray dial with luminous markers, and
hands, eye-catching red accents, bi-directional rotating bezel, black leather
e-strap, and AL-525 automatic.

Readability is huge for me, so 'dark' or 'stealthy' are not something I would buy. I like the looks but would not own one.

Does look like the numbers, and dials almost disappear at times into a stealthy mode Gary.
Honestly would have to wait until it was dark to see the time well with the lume right sir?!  cheers
Yup, these definitely are a look, and don't touch for me also. Just thought they were cool. Smile
