Happy Saturday there !!!


Will be making it two in a row with this Amphibia. ..Hope you guys a really fantastic weekend !!!

Picked up one of the Macy's LE Bulova American Clipper Automatics...pretty nice for under $200......

Oh neat Gary, and yowza, you are so right, these are so nice it's not even funny to be 100% honest !
Seriously, in looking at them, what is the best part?! Or highlight?! ..There isn't any ONE detail, or
area really, and each highlight leads you to the next ! ..You have that sensational sunray blue
dial that reflects a different blue every second. Then the most stunning markers, as well as hands,
and numbers. Not to mention a gorgeous case, and lugs that are off the charts awesome !!!

Add in the terrific movement, head turning strap, and even excellent lume, and you have another
marvel in the collection G ! Enjoy, and a GIANT congrats 2 U sir !!! Wow, so nice !

Thanks Tom! The blue is amazing, I just cant get a photo that truly shows it. The lume is OK it seems to fade fast but this is a dressy sort of watch anyway. Got it for $188 (+4% Rakuten) I spent my money I was going to spend on the new Timex M79 that sold out in an hour or less. Now I want one of the Bulova Surfboards too.

I almost didn't buy this one (and the reason I didn't buy the other two Timex retros they came out with) was the size. This is 39mm (under my self imposed limit for a new watch of 40mm). I am glad I took the chance because this wears larger than 39mm because of the case shape and bezel design. If you have a 7" wrist or smaller this strap would need holes punched in it, it is sized perfectly for a big wristed guy like me. Anyway I love it.

You are very very welcome Gary !  Can really see why you are loving this one so much, and loved just
hearing the story of how you came to pick this up. It's funny how often times, things end up working
in a certain way isn't it?! I mean you were originally thinking about that Timex, and then because it was
sold out, it sent you into Bulova mode. ..Then, on top of that, you were thinking it might be a little too
small also, but it ended up being great at the end of the day. This hobby rocks really, and now all of the
sudden you are even eyeing one of those new Surfboards?!! Those are outstanding also sir !

Really seems like Bulova is on a roll Gary ! You can really see the bang for your buck in every
detail in their watches lately. ..Seriously, just that hypnotic blue you mentioned is worth $188 !
Oh, and that lume looks pretty great too, and especially for a dress watch like you said.
