| Balance wheel Quartz, it's Quartz control but still has a balance wheel. These were the first quartz watches (these were the natural evolution of the Hybrid electronic/electric/Dynabeat watches) and were expensive to produce.
(from the web) The Q Quartz, although hybrid - electron mechanical, is regulated by a quartz swinging at 49152 Hertz, that is over 6000 times faster. Furthermore, the Q Quartz has a micro-computer inside able to sense and correct time-keeping variations. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... For some reason just don't know a ton about the different types of quartz watches. Honestly, can't remember looking into Balance Wheel Quartz, or the Q Quartz either before sir. If it weren't for you putting up the term 'Balance Wheel Quartz' yesterday, I would sill be in the dark about all of this. Thanks so very very much !! Man, this hobby is incredible Gary !!! ____________________________________ | |
