Ooh wow, I didn't actually realize that these were the same as the Orients were sir ! ..Now when you say that, you mean identical right? Like they were built at the same place? Together right?! Wow, what an amazing watch !!!

Good afternoon, good evening, and happy beginning of the weekend Darius ! Yowza, this one’s fascinating here because it’s maybe a touch more classic looking. Yet the contrasts are just as epic. Maybe more so ! It’s phenomenal !!!

I have to believe they were both made by Orient, here are mine for comparison...
I did have the blue one open and it has a 21 Jewel 46943 Automatic, I guess I would have to open the Wittnauer to be sure:
OK I found this on the web:
The movements are different, but it was made in Japan, no other info on movement as to # of jewels or movement ID, I stick by my original thoughts and this had to be made by Orient.

Wow, neat stuff Gary, and so it seems as if American/Swiss brands were partnering with Japanese brands back then as well. It’s fascinating how it seems to have been on certain models, or ones in which they were sharing cases, and even movements. And even though these two lookers aren’t using the same exact movement. There’s no doubt they were made at the same place. I mean these dials, as well as cases are instantly recognizable, plus that dual dueling crown style was part of the design as well.
No matter how you slice it, these watches rock G !! Cannot thank you enough for the terrific lesson on all of this !!!
