| Not a big skeleton fan either but that one is very legible. I also like the facit that there is dial outside the movement, frames it well.
Very nice! ____________________________________

| NICE one Gary !!! I think this watch looks GREAT !..The dial is very well done with those silver lines surrounding the skeleton movement. Also the way the dot markers are used is cool too. By the way, I think we could all stare at that movement from the front to the back all day ! It's a REALLY great Bulova sir..ENJOY ! ____________________________________ | |

| Hey thanks for the compliments...I figured nobody would like this one but me! The pictures DO NOT come close to showing how nice this thing looks!! For you big guys, with my 8.5 inch wrist I actually had to take out two links. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | Totally sweet pick up. Loving the "lines" in that one. I'm a sucker for a silver/white dial. | |

| It's nice. I like the cut out in the winding rotor. If a watch has an exhibition back you should be able to see the movement, most auto rotors block the view. Nice.
But I can't get past the logo. Bulova and Accutron use a tuning fork logo. Doesn't that logo refer to a quartz movement? I can't get past that logo on a mechanical watch. I think if I buy a Bulova or Accutron it will have to be a quartz.

No not really, later Accutrons were quartz but the original hummers were electric...no quartz module. The following is quote (below) is from the Accutron Place http://www.accutron214.com/Default.htm Accutron will always be either a hummer or automatic to me, Bulova has a rich history of high quality Automatics, but in modern times only has quartz pieces with a few autos spread through the lines. "The single, most important distinguishing feature of early Accutrons (1960 to 1977) is that they do not tick. Put one to your ear and you will hear the distinctive hum of the electronically driven tuning fork that powers the Accutron movement. The conversion from vibratory to rotary motion is so smooth that the second hand appears to move continuously.
