Have you ever wanted to know when your Seiko was produced? Well I have!!! I ran across this site the other day...

http://www.csce.uark.edu/~jgauch/tools/seiko.html

To find the production date of your Seiko watch, enter the movement number and serial number from the back of your watch below, and hit "Calculate". This system uses the start date of a movement and the digits of the serial number to calculate the production date. When a movement is in production for more than 10 years (eg. 7S26), the first possible date is reported.

My dad's a CPA and I worked in Accounting for a while. Most brong job ever. The only way to be creative was in how fast i could get things done. Got pretty good with a 10key but I much prefer Seikos.

I want to get one of these so bad. My 009 is beginning to show some wear.

To be honest with you Poli, I almost never "crunch numbers", use a 10-key or even do accounting work...I specialize in corporate taxation (BS accounting, CPA and MS taxation) and work mainly with tax law or planning. It actually is a pretty exciting job when it comes down to it. The next time we have a "take a dork to work day"... I'll have you up to check the place out

Plus...I work for two of the best companies around...especially for a guy/dad...
