| Have to say NO with this one ! The Panerai is a classic, and one that you may want to keep, and enjoy for a long time imho. The Ploprof is also a classic, but maybe get that at another time down the road, without getting rid of the Panerai. This is just my opinion though ! Plus the Panerai is SO nice, there might be some regrets in seeling such a watch later on ! It's a tough question, and decision though ! ____________________________________ | |

| I'm gonna be the contrarian, Alan. How often do you see a guy wearing a Panny, a Panny replica, or a Panny homage? About every three days maybe? How often do you see a guy wearing an Omega Ploprof? About every three YEARS? There ain't no better curb appeal than the Ploprof. Just by asking the question here I know you're thinking the very same thing. | |

| To own a ploprof you need a deep collection, not an everyday style watch and wont work in any formal setting, great watch and i'm sure it goes for more than the Panerai but the only way i would do it is straight up and i dont think that would happen! If you're going that far just get a Rolex DeepSea seadweller and you will never need another watch! My grail and could be very happy if it was the only watch i owned! |

Too big, rolex got it right just too many haters out there! the crown is paying to air the masters this week, wonder when invicta will sponser a putt putt course tournament?? call it the koolaid classic

| Hehehe. No problem on the rolex.I tried one on at the ad and found that the bracelet was great.Of course I only tried it on the wrist and was totally fine with my hetro upbringing.I'm sure you strapped one on and popped in the chicks with dicks gone wild college edition dvd. |

Trevor has the right idea! The DSSD is one badass watch...good size, awesome quality! He is definitely right on how often you could wear it....everyday, no matter what situation! I have tried them on at an AD a couple times and the bracelet was the killer for me. But I already had the thought in my head that I wouldn't like the bracelet anyways. ____________________________________ M A R K

| 99.99% sure the Panerai isn't going anywhere... I have the LM7 and while it's a CLONE of the PloProf, there is NO OTHER ProPlof clone on the market (at least that I have found)... Besides, I've found another watch that 99% of you will hate that I want... ____________________________________ | |

| I'm in the minority here, I'd say go for it. As much as i love that Panny it's nowhere near as unique as the Omega. No fault of Panerai tho, just too many others that aspire to that classic look. |
