| Came in early today (4 am) to make some changes to how power is distributed to the servers in this rack. EMC SAN & NAS, ESX VMware server running 4 VMs, and a PACS (used for an x-ray imaging application). Yeah, I'm a geek. | |

It's great until something breaks, then EVERYTHING on that box goes down. We've got a domain controller, antivirus update, patch deployment, and print server on that HP Proliant DS380 G5. It's fast with 2 quad core 2.833 Xeon procs, 32GB of RAM, 60GB disk space native with another 500GB on the SAN, but I'm still not sure about putting all the eggs in one basket. | |
