Based in the maritime city of Livorno, Italy, DRASS is one of the oldest commercial diving companies in the world. Originally, Anonimo produced their first watch collection, but now DRASS has begun to produce their own watches, and their latest is the Tungum. It is named after the copper alloy created by Sidney Tungay in 1932. The case, measuring 47mm, is made of tungum copper and features a stainless steel helium release valve. It is water resistant to 1,000 meters. Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW200 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours.

The M45 measures 45mm x 17mm (with 24mm lugs) and has a sapphire crystal. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and features a helium escape valve. Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2824-2 in “topgrade” finishing. MSRP is $888.

I KINDA DIG THE ZENTON!

Both watches are very cool. I like both of them but I also am really digging the Zenton!

The Zenton looks a lot like the Craftsman you sold to noisy Nova.

Gotta agree about the Zenton. Looks to be a nice configuration and Top Grade is a nice improvement in a number of ways - mainspring, balance, etc. - over the run-of-the-mill 2824 in most divers.

The Zenton is nice, but...
do we REALLY need another company making 'standard' dive watches? Yawn...

Hmm..The Drass is pretty interesting imho ! I like the color on
the case, it's very intriguing. It looks well made, and well thought
out. Not to mention it looks easy to read. The position, along with
the look of the crown is neat too !..With the Zenton watches, they
seem to be going for the traditional dive watch look, with a little
aggressivess added in ! Some bold cases, and bezels, along
with what look like indestructable bracelets. NICE hands and markers
on those dials by the way ! Great finds with these two !..Thx !
