| Things worked out in the end! Called FedEx yesterday and they said the errant watch was on its way; tracking had it in Memphis at 12 am today. I get an email from Steinhart saying they contacted FedEx after I emailed them and got the ball rolling, I should expect the package tomorrow. About 10 am today I hear a knock at the door....FedEx!!! They really stepped up their game all around....thumbs up to all parties! So here's a review and some pics...it was worth the wait! Details from the Steinhart site: Technical Details Type: TRITON 100 ATM stainless steel Item no.: 10203 MovementETA 2824-2 automatic Swiss Made Functionshour and minute with Superluminova central second hand date at 6 o'clock screw-down crown at 4 o'clock movement ETA 2824-2 automatic helium escape valve at 2 o'clock Case: stainless steel beed-blasted Diameter: 45 mm height: 14 mm Weight: 195 g Dial: black Crystal: flat sapphire, 5 mm, with two layers of anti-reflecting coating on the inside Bezel: black DLC, uni-directional / 120 clicks Indices and Hands: Superluminova white, orange Lug width: 24 mm WaterRes: 1000 m according to DIN Strap: rubber strap black with deployment clasp I love this watch! The bead-blasted finish is very cool; great contrast with the black DLC bezel and dial. Bezel click nice and smooth, tight, no free play. The dial is really cool; I love the black/orange/white combo. TONS of Superluminova on the dial and bezel, really stands out. Hands are cool too. I was a bit apprehensive about the rubber strap with the deployant. It's a lot more comfortable than I thought and no problem unclasping as I wear it. And of course it has the all important Helium escape valve for when I...well I guess I'll never need it, bit it's a cool little orange thingie on the case! Here's some pics: |

| Very nice and congrats! I am really considering the all DLC model myself. If I may ask, how much was it shipped to the US given the current Euro/US exchange rate? |

500.59 euros; it was a bit less than the site stated. The all DLC would be a bit higher I believe. |

| Congratulations! Steinhart gets A+ again for support. I had a package go out of the normal path coming to me from Singapore. Contacted FedEx and they corrected it. They sent a special courier to me when it got to the Atlanta Hub too. Really like how they've handled such issues more than the other carriers. Very nice photo review! |

| Very COOL watch - No Doubt. Really like the dial design and lume colors. Especially like the clasp - makes the rubber look really thick.
Curious how you got around the VAT?
Enjoy. |

The strap IS thick, about 6mm an the lug end! As far as the VAT, the total on the site was higher than what my statement was; I believe they removed the VAT from my order. |

| When you click on the watch,it shows vat price and non vat price for non european nations. Glad it finally showed up and certainly beats out all of those clone watches out there.I'm thinking about getting the dlc version since the price is so good.So the rubber strap is nice huh? |

| . . . Yowzah!!! Best looking Triton in my opinion. Lume is awesome, hands are great. And the "orange thingie" is the crowning touch . . . . . . I don't believe it was ever lost in the first place. I know that Rattatuoille had it over there in Paris . . . the litttle bugger!!!! |
