PRECISTA PRS-3 LE 300 metre Automatic Diver

Many of you will remember the Broadarrow PRS-3 first launched in 2003 and will also remember that following a legal dispute over the name "Broadarrow" (or "Broad Arrow"), the PRS-3 had to be discontinued. Many customers have asked for the PRS-3 to be reintroduced and I am happy to announce that it's back, bigger and better!

This is no simple reintroduction, the watch has been completely redesigned from scratch, as the drawings below show. Bigger, at 42mm; better bezel and thicker sapphire crystal; better construction with a screw-in crown tube, improved crown assembly, metal movement ring and finally, a quality solid link steel bracelet with perfectly fitting solid end-pieces.

The regular version of the PRS-3 will have a black dial with white framed plongeur hands and a regular elapsed time bezel insert but to launch the new PRS-3, a limited edition of four different colours with a combined countdown/12 hour bezel insert and supplied with a PU strap to match the colour of the dial. Each colour is produced in 50 numbered pieces.

CASE Material 316L stainless steel, brushed on top and polished sides
Diameter 42mm, 46mm across including crown
Lug to lug height 49.6mm
Thickness 12.45mm to the top of the crystal
Lug spacing 22mm
Anti-magnetic 4800 A/m
Water resistance 300 metres
Weight 205 grammes on steel bracelet, 125 grammes on PU strap
Features Screw down crown, screw back, 60 click bezel with dual purpose elapsed time/12 hour insert
DIAL Colour Black, blue, orange and yellow dials; 50 pieces each colour
Luminous Hour markers Super Luminova C3
Day/Date Date at 6 o'clock position
HANDS Style Plongeur hands, different colours for different dials
Luminous Super Luminova C3
CRYSTAL 3mm flat sapphire crystal, A/R coating on underside
MOVEMENT ETA2824-2 standard running at 28,800 BPH with quickset date, Incabloc shock protection

STRAP Fitted with stainless steel solid link bracelet with custom solid end pieces, screwed adjustment links and with safety fliplock clasp with divers' extension

Supplied on a steel bracelet in a two-watch zipper travelling case with 24 months guarantee and a PU strap in the same colour as the selected dial colour.

They look GOOD if you ask me Doc !..Although they do have
a familiar theme to other dive watches. They also seem to
have a LONG list of quality materials, and parts there !
Add in a NICE movement, along with that price you are
showing, and it all sounds pretty attractive. Didn't know
about the history behind the company, or watch either.
So that was cool too !..Also like the dial colors !!!
..Thank you sir !

The non LE looks a lot like the Omega Seamaster 300.
That would be my choice.

I've been eyeing that one up since it came out. Been really close-read 1 or 2 beers away-from picking up the yellow one. If the bracelet tapered down to 20mm or even 18mm I would probably have one. I still may in the near future who knows. I agree with Tom to a certain degree but something about the case shape thats very pleasing to me where I haven't seen on the others.

Chris,
Well, its no B-SOH LE but it is nice. I like the blue dial for some strange reason. Probably will never get one but I did think it has something different from the others out there too.

Eddie has been around alot longer than Mitch and O7? He owns TZ-UK and will always be known as the godfather of micro brands and the holy grail of micro watches the Dreadnought! I think the Precista line is more of an omage to Omega!

Chris, from what i've heard from guys that buy from Eddie all his pieces are very well made and customer service is outstanding! I've always wanted a PRS-50, has a fifty fathoms feel to it and love the bezel and is also priced right in the 500.00 range!

Do like the case design on that LE but, that's about it. Approx. $630.00.
