S.U.F Helsinki and Sarpaneva watches

Just came across this watch company called S.U.F Helsinki.
SarpanevaUhrenFabrik manufactures these watches which
are also limited editions. They are assembled in Helsinki
Finland by Stepan Sarpaneva who also has his other watch
company Sarpaneva, which I think we have talked about !
The model from S.U.F is called the Flying Finn, and the site
will be up and running soon. Here are some photos of the

Sarpaneva watches was founded in 2003 by Stepan Sarpaneva where
he individually handcrafts the watches. His family were craftsman, and
he went to school at the Finnish School of Watchmaking. Later moving
to Switzerland to learn, and work under watchmakers like Piaget, Parmigiani,
and Christophe Claret just to name a few. The watches are unique, high
quality watches that can last a lifetime.

The watches use modified Soprod A10 Calibre automatic movements, except for the Supernova
which has an ETA 2824-A2 inside. Case sizes range from 40mm-44mm. and have quality materials
like stainless steel, hand made modified Stavex Hardened ESR stainless steel, Nickel plating, Rhodium plating, sapphire crytsals, and much more.

You are right Alan !..Would be nice to see a little more of the watch !
I thought the bezels were pretty great as well by the way, and just look
how wide those chapter rings are too !
