Glossy black, baby blue, and purple make a great color combo! Enjoy the pics!

Nice - I see you've got the Moon Phase too.

I went back and forth on the metallic bright red, metallic, blue, and this one - which has the cool accent colors.

This thing has a sh--load of features. I didn't realize it had moonphase until I got it home. It also has a tide function.

Alot of stuff I never use but cool nonetheless.

What a G-REAT watch WP ! G-Shock Icon_cheers ..It's something how
neat these watches actually are. Ever since I have been
seeing you guys talk about them, as well as get them,
it's been VERY easy to see what makes them so special.
Basically they LOOK TERRIFIC, are SUPER TOUGH, and
are just really COOL ! G-Shock Icon_cool I like how the dial looks on your
watch here. Kind of reminds me of something you might
see on an instrument panel of a spaceship. It's fun to
look at, as well as practical with all of the functions.
Also think it's nice how they use the different colors
on the watch. It not only looks great, but also gives
the watch it's own personality. Casio evidently likes
to keep things interesting with their watches, especially
their G-Shocks. I know there are alot of variations out
there, and it's nice to see how different each of them
can look. The finish on the watch is excellent as well.
Extremely stealthy looking, and it seems to have an
angry edge about it. AWESOME !..Your pictures of the
strap, and buckle are terrific as well. Can see how it fits
on the wrist so comfortably. That is one mean looking
strap !!!..Have to say, even the tins look cool WP ! G-Shock Icon_smile
Congratulations on your new G !..Have fun with it, and..
..ENJOY !

REALLY NICE shots of the watch by the way !

Thanks! To be honest, I'll probably only use the stopwatch. Everything else about this purchase was based strictly on looks.

There are some that have other options and are more expensive but the color combos in those models didnt appeal to me.

What does Low Temp - LCD mean? Is this one more suited to cold weather conditions than typical for G's?

It's temperature resistant to -4 F. Not sure what the standard is for Gs.

It's 45mm from 8-2 and 50mm from 9-3 which includes the case "bumpouts". It looks and wears more like a 44mm watch due to the thicker bezel and the dark color of the case.

The strap is very thin but balances the watch well. It's 26mm at the lug and 21-22 at the buckle. There is an accordian section near the lugs which grips but lets air under the strap. The keeper has notches they keeps it from sliding along the bracelet.
