those are some great photos, i remember when i was in my early teens, i went to see the blue angels. when i got my photos developed most of the pics showed only blue sky no jets. lol cameras have come a long way since then. steve

Cool pics Mark! I saw a blimp off in the distant skies from my house. Didn't know if it was the airshow or the Golf Tournament. What kind of camera did you get?

Did'nt see the blimp at the airshow John. I got a Canon EOS T2i-tried out the telephoto lens for the first time today.

Thanks guys. I've got a lot to learn about photography-but so far a good telephoto lens makes things a little more idiot proof.

Hey Mark, as a side note regarding the blimp. I saw it directly over head today....it is Farmers Insurance. Not sure what is up but they seem to be flying all around her and Portland. Just advertising or maybe for the State Fair that starts this coming week.

it was supposed to fly to the air museum in Mcminnville yesterday for rides along with the hot air balloons, it was a Zeppelin. we went but it never showed because of mechanical troubles

So did you guys go on any balloon rides Ron? Never done that, but it seems like fun to me.

..Also seems like your new camera is working INCREDIBLY
well. The pictures are extremely clear, and you can see a
bunch of detail !!! ..It's nice because you can get such
great close ups. The way those jets seem to be right next
to eachother. Especially the one where the one is upside
down ! ..UNBELIVABLE !!! ..The one with the woman on top
of the plane is amazing as well. Actually to be honest they
are all AMAZING ! ..The A-10, and Harrier are TOO cool by
the way !

no, but someday I'd like to. Newberg has a company that you can all Summer, can't remember the name but we see the baloons floating around all the time.

By the way, awesome photos! No blur with that new camera, looks like the planes are not moving. Always wanted to got to the airshow.
