Eterna-Matic 3000

I have recently been having to go through my grandfathers belongings since he passed and came across this watch in a drawer. I've tried finding it on the web but have had no luck at all. The case says Eterna Matic but the watch itself does not say the same. It just says Jaquet Droz and 3000 on the face. It says swiss made on the front and back and 4801 on the back as well. Its a blue band with a very retro face. It hasn't been touched in about 25+ years but wound it up a bit and it started ticking away smoothly for about an hour then stopped.

I'm just trying to find out any info on this seeing as the closet Eterna dealership is about 1200 miles away.

Neither Eterna or Jaquet Droz produced huge quantities of watches compared to other makers....but but are respected for quality watches. Any decent watch maker should be able to service this piece, no need to send it to Eterna (unless you want to). Wouls need to see movement pictures and close up of all marking to give you any kind of real answers, the Eterna 3000 series was around early to mid-sixties, but other than that you are on your own. A watch of this vintage needs a service!

Happy to look at pics of the case, caseback (and interior of caseback), and movement markings to try to help.
