Tempest Watches is a new contemporary watch company dedicated to designing and producing high quality, professional grade divers watches.The brand is finalizing it's new design concept,Viking.


This latest timepiece will be equipped with top grade ETA 2824-2 Swiss automatic movement,housed in a 45mm brushed solid stainless steel (316L Surgical Grade), with thick anti-magnetic inner soft iron case. The special features include Double O-ring design, screw down signed crown @3H with two tiered over-sized crown protectors and Stainless Steel engraved Double O-ring screw locked caseback. Rated water resistance will be 2000 meters.



Glass is extra thick domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on inside.The timepiece will feature 120 - click, unidirectional tough ceramic luminous insert bezel and heavy duty brushed 316L Surgical grade Stainless Steel bracelet, solid Hex screw links with Micro-adjustable flip-lock clasp with integrated diving extension feature.Engineering drawings and some exclusive spy photos are shown.

Looks good right now, but have to wait to see final product and price. I dont think i like the name TEMPTEST on the dial? Steve

Really does look like a high quality dive watch Mark. Just looking at it, and
seeing all of the specifications seems to hint that this watch will be a great
top notch dive watch option for people. I like seeing all of the pictures,
and drawings with this one. Even though it does look similar to many of the
divers out there, it's still nice seeing how watches like these come about,
or are created. Actually think it would be cool if Tempest, or any of the
smaller watch companies started releasing watches that looked just like
their prototypes. Just the raw look of the steel, without any paint would
look pretty neat. Thanks for all of this info, as well as links too !

They are looking at 3-4 dial colors. 1.) Charcoal 2.) Orange 3.) Blue 4.) Black (Depending on demand). Pictures will be posted as soon of the actual dial are completed so we can get a better idea of how it will look.

Sounds good Mark ! Those colors, along with the look of the bezel, case, and OUTSTANDING case-back should make for one especially nice combination when all is said, and done. Thanks again !

Hey guys!

I hope you guys like what you are seeing so far. We are now working to see what we can do to reduce the thickness without compromising the WR. As for the bezel, its upside down on the drawings and on the first prototypes (which should be ready end of this month). It will be fixed when we go into production

Hello Ben. Glad you are trying to decrease the height. At 18mm it would be high on the wrist for sure. Like your design and concept drawing. Be sure to show us more when available.

i like it Ben and dont see it as the same case all the other 45mm 2000m watch companies are using! Love the bezel and that bevel on the lugs reminds me so much of an Omega! Good luck and cant wait to see the finished product!

I totally agree Trevor! From what I can see, there is even some interesting machining work on the sides of the case towards the lugs. I personally cannot wait to see how it turns out!

Andrema is right....There is some very cool machining on the sides of the watch which is not very visible in the pictures. Need to keep you guys in a bit of suspense until the watch is completed

I like the clean look of the dial and the date at 6 o'clock, i would still rather see your logo on the dial vs the name TEMPEST?. It will be nice to see what hands you are going to go with. Looking forward to seeing this one!! Steve

Hey guys, The last dial was not sitting well with me so went back to the drawing board. I think it looks much better now.

I like the colors, markers, date at 6 oclock, hands and colored second hand, but i still dont like TEMPEST on the dial. IMO it would look better with your logo but thats just my opinion. Steve
