The roll continues Dave, and WOW is right, this Azimuth is a REAL stunner !!!
You can really tell that the construction, fit and finish, along with all around
quality is top notch here. Plus on top of that it's just a plain gorgeous looking
watch in my opinion.
..Can't believe the cool blue dial color, as well as the
way the entire dial, case, and bracelet all work together. This is just exceptional !
Congratulations on picking it up ! Have to start with the dial on this one I think.
Man oh man, the type of blue used with it is really something else. At times it
looks dark, and other times it seems very light. Even looks to have some cool
metallic qualities about it that bring a whole different feel to the dial. The fact
that the blue is also up on the bezel is excellent as well. It makes the look flow
better, while also managing to make the dial seem a little bigger too which is
neat. Always like when watch companies have similar markings on both the
dial, and bezels also. It again keeps a flow going with the watch. In addition
it almost makes the dial appear as if it is overflowing onto the bezel. Think
that it's a very eye-catching trait of the watch, and Azimuth did a GREAT job
of doing it just right.
..Going back to the dial for a second, it's nice how they
did the chapter ring imho. You have the numbering, along with small dot markers,
but you also have that awesome blue once again. Honestly don't think that
could look any nicer. By the way, it really seems to show off the depth of of
this dial as well ! Wow !!! Also want to bring up that the numbers on the dial,
and how they are mixed with the dot markers is an extremely attractive
combination. It REALLY grabs your attention ! Looks uniquely cool, and sporty
TOO. Even these aggressive looking hands have a real energy about them.
Guess it's the combination of the classi, and modern hand shapes, together
with the vibrant yellow that makes it so attractive. In any case, it's something
to see Dave ! That GMT hand is AWESOME as well with it's use of the same
color, and long length also. VERY NICE, and once you see how the excitement
of the dial spills over onto the bezel, you understand just how well though out
this Azimuth is. You have the color, markings, along with that amazing bezel's
edge that just ROCKS !
Kind of adds in yet another exceptional, as well as
aggressive element to the watch. Even the crown kind of has a similar feel with
it's knurling reflecting the bezel's look.
At the same time, there is the super
smooth, along with classic theme with the case. The shape, the brushing, along
with what looks to be an invincible build quality continue this watch's march toward
excellence. You can look at the dial, bezel, and case, and see this, and it just keeps
going from there ! The bracelet style, IT'S style, and brushing. ..The case-back,
crown, and clasp, and it's attention to detail ALL show that THIS awesome Azimuth
is EXCELLENT ! Congrats once again Dave. I hope you really enjoy this one !
