Saw and won the bid on Yahoo auction for this updated Traser milspec version! Love it! size is now 45mm over the regular P650042mm and rated at a new 300m. Bezel is pvd metal, casing is newly designed fiberglass resin arouns the SS casing. Came on a NATO but found it slight bulky for my 6.5 inch wrist, so I switched it out for JakeB waffle. Now it sits flush against the caseback, not the Nato strap. Tritium tubes are very bright at nite! Same size as my Casio AMW beater.

Case looks very interesting, must be lightweight.

The new casing attracted me alot! Some guys thought it was a bit too trendy?? haha...but who says a watch can't be well designed and still a tool watch!?
Not super light, as the actual case is SS and so is the bezel PVD. I'm no macho guy either, so this watch was bought half for its newer design feature look and half because it was constructed for actual field use.

Here is the original P6500 classic....

What a REALLY neat looking watch Thian ! VERY stealthy, VERY nice, and really
VERY COOL ! Cool When you said you had won this last week I knew it was a
good looking watch, but now from your pictures it's easy to see that it is a
GREAT looking. Also seems like it backs up the great looks with some ingenius
design, as well as excellent quality too ! New Traser updated version.... 803574 Congratulations to you on winning
this one. It really ooks awesome !!! One thing I am finding out more now about
your new Traser Thian, is that the case is unbelievably different looking. Had
thought the dial was unique, but the case seems to be right there with it in
the originality category. From the top view it seems like a nice stealthy case,
but then when you get the chance to peek at it from the sides you discover
that this cqse is more than meets the eye ! The whole skeletonized theme is
extremely cool to see. ..You get that traditional overall watch case shape.
However, being able to see through the case is an nice extra surprise because
it allows you to experience the watch in a whole new way. You can appreciate
the thickness, along with some incredibly eye-catching shapes also. The main
skeletonized portion on the sides has a noticeable design, or angles to it.
Which genuinely help to accentuate the shape of the case. Even the lugs have
a unique cut-out area which morrors the shape of the lugs perfectly. Really
liking that very much ! Yowza !!! New Traser updated version.... 46145 It's just a really well thought out,
and designed idea imho. That fiberglass resin sounds even more impressive,
adding some extra stealthiness, as well as modern technology to the watch
too. One more element about the skeletonized case that is interesting would
be how you can actually see the silver of the main body of the case through
the outer resin structure. ..You can once again see more of the watch as a
result, and also appreciate more of it. ..Moving up top to that awesome
bezel there is a real treat as well Thian. There is that excellent stealthiness
continuing, but the PVD metal this time around must add a little extra weight
in. I can't get enough of how the numbers on the bezel start out very small
from the 12 to 3 o'clock area, but then get bigger starting at the 5 o'clock
position. Wow, NICE job Traser, and just look at how the unique look of the
numbers continues over onto the dial itself ! There are the futuristic numbers
on that first chapter ring, then what could almost be a second chapter ring
with the Tritium tubes on it. Followed by a THIRD chapter ring with actuall hash
marks. It's like a fantastic futuristic rifde that just keeps going Thian. ..Even
those hands, along with extra numbers at the center of the dial are COOL !
As is this Nato, and also the waffle strap must be !!! Cool Congrats on adding
such a great watch to your collection, and ..Enjoy !

Cool watch, cool PICS !

Thanks again, Tom, your insightful design analysis! here is the watch with the waffle on it....Since my wrist size is smallish, the waffle is perfect for making this 45mm watch fit just right!

Watch photos can be deceiving when shot enlarged. same when viewed up close on the wrist. So, I took a long shot to get a more accurate view of this watch as how sits on a 6.5" wrist...no prob!

Very happy to do it Thian ! Very Happy That waffle strap couldn't match up ANY better by the way. It actually looks like
it belongs with this watch, with the whole look, and style. Definitely looks very comfortable as well ! ..REALLY
GREAT pictures TOO ! Thanks alot !!! ..I hope you enjoy !

Thanks, Tom. The vintage waffle style from JakeB is only $15usd! It actually is about 1mm short of 20mm and the other 22mm, but no biggie for me...(I bought 4 of each!Smile ) I used to use the Marathon MilSpec one length strap for a lot of my watches.
