My New Steinhart Triton 30 ATM Empty
PostSubject: My New Steinhart Triton 30 ATM   My New Steinhart Triton 30 ATM Icon_minitimeWed Aug 03, 2011 12:45 pm

I ordered it last Thursday and received it late yesterday. Excellent service from Gnomonwatches in Singapore.

Some initial comments:

Styling is quite unlike anything else I've seen. Quality of fit and finish are outstanding, as is typical of Steinhart.
For me ( 7 1/4 inch wrist ) the watch wears large at 45mm by 56 mm, and I am already at the last position on the strap.
The strap itself is 24mm wide and 4mm thick and quite stiff as it comes new. The bracelet ( sold separately ) will be along in a day or two so I'll follow up with photos when it is fitted. The 31.5mm diameter, flat crystal is slightly above the height of the bezel, and the bezel itself is the same finished stainless steel as the case, and completely flat. So the susceptibility to bezel scratching is somewhat increased.

For me the overall look is one of understated elegance. I see myself wearing this watch in most any situation. No doubt different straps/bracelets will give it different looks.

If you have any further questions or if I've forgotten anything, please feel free to ask or send me a PM.

Holy COW Rick, this Triton is just BEAUTIFUL ! cyclops Smile Have always liked the past
versions of the Triton, and this one here is really TERRIFIC. Like you are saying
the watch has it's very own unique style that doesn't seem to be seen in other
watches out there, and the fit, and finish really DOES look impressive no matter
where you look on the watch. My New Steinhart Triton 30 ATM 46145 Steinhart seems to have done it once again,
just as you have picked out yet another winner !!! Congratulations on adding
your second Steinhart to your collection. ..There really is a lot that seems to
make this Triton so terrific. You can just see from your outstanding pictures
that the watch does everything right. ..From the case, and dial, to the bezel,
strap, along with lume. There honestly isn't any one part that doesn't make you
say "Wow". Each part of the watch plays it's part to stand out, but also work
as a team, which is really VERY cool ! Cool One thing that always seems to stand
out with the Tritons HAS to be the bezels. That extremely wide, as well as flat
style is off the charts imho. It genuinely helps to set the watch apart from the
crowd. Also enjoy how there is an inner thin portion of the bezel that is then
surrounded by the thicker outer part. The way the markings, along with numbers
are done on it is also fantastic sir. That font on the numbers is very unique if
you ask me, and the triangle markers on the bezel even play off of the markers
on the dial. Yowza ! Smile ..Have to also mention that the teeth on the bezel are
very very NICE as well. They are wide, and bring a mix of class, as well as
some aggression at the same time. Also like the way they seemlessly help
the bezel area to transition into the rest of the case, which by the way is also
TERRIFIC. You can genuinely see from your photos that this case brings in
all of the top notch quality, and elegance that you spoke of. Just the combination
of polished, along with brushed sections are enought to make you smile, but
then you realize that all of the shapes, and edges in the design are out of this
world TOO ! Especially enjoying the crown, and crown guards which literally
seem to mirror the awesome look of the lugs. Speaking of enjoying though,
this dial takes the watch to new heights in my opinion. Not only do you still
get the cool looking numbers, and markings that have been a patented part
of the Triton, but then you get that exceptional silver finish, along with rings.
THAT look, combined with the double triangle markers at the 12 o'clock
position, numbers, markers, AND hands is unbelievable ! Even the little details
like the date window at 6 o'clock, chapter ring, and slassy strap playing off
of eachother is terrific Rick. ..Congrats to you, this one is one to enjoy !!!

Terrific watch, as well as pictures of it !

I really like this version a lot. A couple other attempts in this case bothered me in one way or another. But this one I like! Enjoy.

They say it takes on a totally different look with the bracelet. I'll find out soon. Cool
