Love the curved/retro case design and inner bezel execution.
End links however are dangerously sharp.
Usually wear mine on Nato, Isofrane, or Leather.
Still one of my recent favorites. Enjoy.

This new Halios ROCKS Rick !!! ..I think it's everything you said it is, and
MORE ! It's elegant as you pointed out, and the way in which the lines all come
together on this one is simply astonishing imho. In a way, the beautiful thing
about it is that it does the complex so easily, that the watch actually might
seem simple, or plain as you said, but it's not at all. It's elegant, sporty, new,
vintage, and just plain AWESOME all the way around Rick ! Very Happy Congratulations
on yet another beauty here sir. ..The Laguna has so much going for it that
it's unbelievable. Really is one of those watches out there right now that just
captures your attention. Think it has everything to do with what everyone
is saying already. On the one hand it feels very very retro with it's vintage
looking case style, and overall look. Then you have the new, modern feel
in there TOO. It's a great formula that's for sure, and it's difficult trying to
find one part of the watch that isn't ASTONISHING. The case for example
really reminds you of some of those older groundbreaking dive watches. Smile
It's not the usual round shape, but instead elongates the shape, and makes
it even more attractive. Add to that some of the more modern additions to
the case, like the various brushed, and polished edges, corners, and levels,
and you have an even more dynamic look. At times the case looks as if
it actually is on it's way to being round, but then you see the tranformation
near the lugs which almost starts becoming squared off. ..Can't say enough
about the different levels, or shelves that look to be on the case as well.
You can really notice them as you get closer to the crytsal. It's like Halios
wanted to build up some anticipation for the dial which is just amazing as
well. The width, and look of the chapter ring starts things off SO well with
it's vintage/modern theme once again. Each marker, along with number
bringing you back to the past, while still moving forward. Even the dial surface
itself is astonishing with what looks like a deeper gray color, or black. Those
markings keep things elegant as well, but still have a lot of sportiness in
them with their shape, and size also. I love how many of the markings
mirror the positions of the ones on the chapter ring as well like the triangle,
and rectangular ones. ..Hey, and how about the hands Rick ?! They also
have a sporty, boldness, but then look VERY elegant with the finish on
them. WOW ! Same goes for those dual crowns which while looking cool,
still manage to let you know that THIS watch means business, and that
bracelet too which gives you much of the same elegance, and boldness
that's in the watch as a whole. It's all pretty ASTONISHING Rick, from start
to finish ! ..Oh, and the Isofrane strap matches that dial just right as well !
Congrats, and enjoy this astonishing watch sir !

Astonishing watch, AND pics as always !
