Freak Snow Storm

Hope everyone who experienced the freak snowstorm over the weekend is doing alright.
I know there are many many people who haven't had power for days now, and with all
of the trees, and branches that came down it's been almost apocalyptic looking in places.
Here in New Jersey we are used to seeing snow, but the trees weren't with most of their
leaves still being on them. So as a result we saw an amazing amount of trees, along with
branches coming down onto everything. Honestly have not seen anything like this here.
Halloween has actually been put off until this weekend for many towns also because of
all the damaged trees, and downed power lines. Fortunately power is now back on here,
but it's still not over for a lot of people in the Northeast. I hope everyone is o.k. out there.

Still no power or heat or gas........bbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

No snow here yet, although a colder than normal winter is predicted. Gotta love that global warming. Hope you get power back soon Mark. Have you considered a generator with an automatic transfer switch? Just throwing that out there.

Sorry you are still going through that Mark. It has to have been a rough week for you
guys up there. I hope they are able to get that electricity, and everything on for you
really soon. Stay safe and keep us updated if you can.

Hang in there Mark , I know it really sucks

We lost power on Sat and got it back Weds afternoon. We have a generator, so we were ok.

This is what it looked like at our house on Sunday morning. We lost 2 big trees and it destroyed a bunch of bushes. Everything was still leafed out which is what the problem was.

We got about 6 inches of snow , some towns got 22inches and 31inches.

Glad that you are doing alright up there now Greg. That's a long time not to have power.
I know it's been a strange week, but at least everone is o.k. there. By the way, your pics
really give a feel for how it must have been. ..Take care of yourself !
