PostSubject: Some Different Damaskos   Some Different Damaskos Icon_minitimeFri Nov 11, 2011 3:08 pm

Was looking around at some watch sites recently, and found these new Damaskos that are
coming soon. They have that great aviation styling that you are used to, but they have added
in a few changes with some different looking ideas like red markers, and hands. The watches
are called the DA34, DA35, DA44, and DA45. Each one has a 40mm ice hardened bead blasted
stainless steel case, with some of them even having a black abrasion proof Damest layer as
well. Dials range from a matte black with luminous hands, and indices, to full lume dials with
Luminova C1 being used. Functions include hours, minutes, and permanent central sweep
seconds, and the movement is the 25 Jewel 2836-2 automatic movement. The DA44, and
DA45 also add in some Bi-directional rotating bezels, along with two optional bezel inserts:
a 60 minute countdown, along with 12 hour ring. A red stitched black calfskin strap, or even
optional rubber strap is available with all of the watches. Here are the links to Watchmann
where you can see this, and much much more if you like...

P.S. Sorry about only giving links, for a while now have been unable to cut and paste
pictures. Must have something to do with my computer or browser I guess. Embarassed

Have to agree with you whitebread. They really do seem like some fantastic watches, but I know that
there are similar looking well made watches that are many hundreds less out there. ..Guess we'll just
have to be happy looking at these. cyclops .. Smile

I have one of their DA36 models. One of my favorite watches. Can't say enough for Damasko's ice hardened technology. My watch is unmarked after two years. Nothing in their current producton excites me but I would be willing to pay extra for the hardening process alone.

Can definitely understand why that is one of your favorite's Mark. The great looking case, along with
case finish, dial, and hands are perfect. That yellow second hand is THE best also, and hearing about
how that ice hardening process has basically made your watch invincible is beyond impressive too
sir. Some Different Damaskos 46145
