The mailman dropped off this fantastic 1970 Accutron "Snorkel." It's huge for a vintage Accutron, at 41mm x 45mm with a
20mm band. It's in outstanding condition with the original dual crowns (both Accutron-signed) and HEAVY-duty mesh bracelet.
The mesh is 'shaved' flat for a serious sport look. The clasp is also Accutron-signed, and the bracelet came with a diver
extension, which I removed because it was too large for my wrist otherwise. Love it.

Looks like you are starting off 2012 in style Tom ! Very Happy I mean does it get any better than
this vintage "Snorkel" here?! I don't think so ! Just that whole look of the dial, and
the inner rotating bezel is unforgettable. It's a definite classic imho, and the orange accents,
shape of the case, along with SPECTACULAR mesh bracelet take it to a different level as
well sir. CONGRATULATIONS ! ..There's honestly a ton to take in with this Accutron Tom.
The size alone is worth talking about. Like you mentioned that 41mmX45mm is awesome.
Even by today's standards that looks perfect on the wrist. The dial helps to work a little
magic to with that as well with it's wide, and vibrant white, and orange inner rotating bezel.
It gives a real balance to the watch, as it begins a pattern of different sections of the dial.
Each one having not only different colors, but also different markings, print, AND depth !
The whole theme is unforgettable, and one that you can still see showing in some of today's
new watches TOO. Even the case, with it's legendary shape, and look has stood the test
of time with it's beautiful shape sir. What's nice is it looks elegant, but also very very sporty,
and agressive. Especially for the time, but also today ! ..This one is going to find a real home
in your outstanding collection Tom. It's got ALL of the history, legendary look, charm, and
quality anyone could ever ask for in a watch. Plus that mesh bracelet, with it's shaved look
is simply THE best. What a look, and combination there ! Yowza !!! ..You honestly don't
always get to see these Snorkels that often, but when you do they rarely seem to have
that mesh, or even seem to be in such amazing shape. Congratulations once again to you,
and as always, I hope you enjoy ! Very Happy

Unforgettable watch, AND pictures Tom !

P.S. Trying to change things up a little with writing less, but still saying a lot for 2012 with
the New Watch Zone sir. Basically going with the less is more theme I guess. Smile
