PostSubject: Welcome to Wilson Watch Works Forum    Sat Jan 28, 2012 7:17 pm

In an effort to bring the best resources and information to our membership, we are pleased to announce that we have invited Chris Pappas to XMT and have opened a Wilson Watch Works (W3) Forum. Chris builts fantastic watches and we are sure that all of our members will benefit from his participation here at XMT.

Please note, as it has been our policy here at XMT, this is not a sponsored forum. Nobody on the XMT Team has benefited from this relationship other than having a quality strapmaker become a part of our forum!

When you get the opportunity, please take the time to officially welcome Chris to XMT.

Best regards,
Mark

About W3 from Chris' website:

W3® - est.2008

I am an active local and national NWACC member who has always had a passion for collecting oversized military and pilot watches.

I have been building custom pieces as a creative outlet since 2008 and have decided to turn my passion for the craft into a small business. I continually train one on one with Alice Carpenter a certified master watchmaker and former AWI president to acquire the skills necessary to provide good service to my customers. I also have the assistance of George Hawkins a local certified watchmaker formally trained at the Paris School of Horology.

I exercise extreme care in all aspects of my life and I only build watches of the quality that I would wear myself. I have several reliable vendors who supply me with the materials necessary to build the perfect watch for you.

All the timepieces are personally assembled and tested one piece at a time in my Wilson, NC workshop.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns during the week day via telephone or email.

Hi Guys, Thank you for welcoming me to the forum. I'll try to get on from time to time. We are also on facebook and most of our current announcements are posted on our website. We have some new divers in the works.

The bund chrono is a great piece, the case work is almost identical to the original explosion case design but it is long sold out.
