At one point during my radical hoarding of horological acqisitions the majority of my collection was 48mm or greater. Thank goodness I did sell off my nondate Rolex Submariner or my Omega Seamaster Professional. They were just getting a little rest. . . Most of my big pieces are gone, but I still retain a few larger watches.

Do any of you have large watches? Do they get wrist time?

Here are three of my larger watches. I like to wear my BaseJump on the weekends with jeans. I wear my Hamilton Montgomery when dressed up and on the weekends. I usually reserve my Railmaster for weddings or special meetings with a suit. Here they are:

Still have a lot of large watches Christopher. They are mostly Invictas, and Zodiacs. However my wrist
has gotten way smaller over the last few years, and they really don't get wrist time. ..Two semi-large
watches that I still wear would be the Zodiac ZMX-01, and Seiko Multi-Function though sir...

Breitling Chronomat Evolution, Tutima Grand Havana, and the Oris ( all about 44 ), are the largest I have, and will ever have.

My affinity for large watches has diminished considerably - More often opting for substance over size. I certainly have plenty of 50mm+ Invictas I never wear. But being a big dude I still like a substantial watch on occasion. Always wanted an Omega Railmaster like smellody's but I don't think I can do it anymore. These are the only > 46mm watches I still wear.

I would not mind an NFW Viperfish for a decent price...

the Casio ProTreks at 49mm and the Traser update at 49mm don't get much wear time. All the watches under 42mm are used more. The 38s or so are worn now and then and waiting in the wings ! haha!
