| found this one NOS online Rakuten watches and ordered it for my present to me haha! Never owned a high end German watch and this one spoke to me. It is from the late 90s I think. Titanium 300m diver, sapphire coated on inner side, 43.5mm bezel width, ETA 2836, day/date. I was wishing for an Omega Mark 4.5 day/date but it was cheapest online here $1900.00. The Tutima NOS was half that! It arrives this Sunday from near Tokyo area. Tutima in box by thianwong1, on Flickr | |

| Oh wow Thian, incredible !!! Don't think you could have picked out a more impressive watch. Holy cow, it is going to be stunning I think. Honestly don't see enough Tutimas out there in the watch world, and this particular one you found looks to be just fantastic ! Looks very similar to 2013 Tutimas, which is so cool all by itself, with it's beautiful design, and really does look perfectly new. What a great first German watch sir. Glad that you discovered it. Really looking forward to hearing how you like it. Congratulations ahead of time ! ____________________________________ | |

| Had to make a montage of the incoming diver DI300. Full titanium case and bracelet, 300m rated, 60 click bezel, undercoating of AR. 2836-A ETA caliber day/date. On the caseback is also the word Miltary haha! These came with black, orange and yellow dials. Montage Tutima Eve Surfer by thianwong1, on Flickr | |

| Hi all! Sunday now in Japan and the DI300 arrived at noon, paid COD. It came with a 1 year warranty. The watch was in its Tutima leather zipper case! very cool! I took the watch out and the 2 links removed by the store were there. I put the watch on and it was still a bit loose so I moved the micro adjuster pin over in the clasp and the watch bracelet fit perfect! I took my UV light and held it at the dial and the lumed hands and markers shone brightly. So far so good! I unscrewed the crown-only 1,5 turns- and reset the day/date wheels for today's date. When the hands passed 12 both wheels advanced together at exactly 12 with stron snap! WOW! Got this NOS DI300 for $850 and am totally pleased. I was grinning around the wife like the Cheshire Cat hahaha! The case and bracelet are titanium. The screw caseback is also of titanium, like my Omega X-33s. Width is 43.5mm and has hidden lugs which take 20mm strap/bracelet. Thickness is 12mm or so, thin enough to get under a cuff. Dial is matte black and readability is excellent, the orange/red seconds hand is very eye catching. Movement is the ETA 2836-A auto and handwinding. I think it is a 28,800bph. This is my first German diver and it is easily on par with the Swiss counterparts, as my Omega Bond quartz SMP300. I forgot to mention the watch is beadblasted ... full dial by curtain by thianwong1, on Flickr by piggies by thianwong1, on Flickr | |

| Stunning Thian !!! Boy oh boy, can see that this watch has that "wow" factor to be honest sir, and really does look to compete with the best Swiss watches like you said. All while being it's own watch, and having it's own personality, which is terrific. Really like how the watch has this ultimate dive watch look to it, but then seems to be sleek, and slim also. Genuinely looks like it could withstand anything the sea could throw at it, and then feel right at home under a cuff as you pointed out. Such an impressive watch Thian ! ..Amazing looks, design, finish, pics, everything !!! Congratulations to you ! ____________________________________ | |

| Tom, the Tutimas have a military connection, as many were issued to German military. Their chronograph flieger model is well known. The DI300 has the word MILITARY inscribed on the caseback. Of course it is more a marketing gimmick likely...but the watch lends itself to military images such as this Navy Seals photo I got off the net.... Tutima navyseals by thianwong1, on Flickr | |
