There is also a 90S5 model that is designed to be a Front View Skeleton

Those movements look GOOD Doc ! 9015! Icon_cyclops VERY nice to look at,
and some IMPRESSIVE specs too !..I like all of the different
versions of the movement also with those watches shown
by the way. It's great seeing the close ups as well, with all
the detail ! 9015! 803574 ..Thanks !

Funny, but I asked about the 9015 and if it were in any movements back a few months ago and no one could come up with a company or watch using it. Those in the pics, if you look closely, say Miyota. Cool and probably only a couple were made for their marketing purposes. Still can't find anything that actually uses those movements. Anyone know of any??

A number of micro brands are using this now.The reviews should be in about a month when some of the brands start delivering.
I'm interested in this movement,but waiting for Citizen to install it in a much less expensive watch than the ones they put them in
to date.Benarus mentioned that the movement cost was 3x the miyota 8215 which on a large order would put them at about
50.00 per movement,75.00 for retail.Since the 8215 has always been a good reliable low beat movement,theres no reason to thing
that the higher beat 9015 won't live up to its older cousin.I've always considered the miyota movement to be superior to the
seiko 7s26/36 movements.

Benarus Moray 2 : Steel

The Moray 2 has new features and upgrapdes such as the new Miyota 9015 automatic movement, upgraded water resistance to 1000 meters, automatic helium release valve, and wider engravings on the bezel. It has the same 44mm 316L stainless case and double domed sapphire crystal. The case finish will be available in brushed, bead blasted, or PVD finish. The Moray 2 will ship with brown and black leather straps in a zip up travel case.

The Moray 2 will begin production in about 2 weeks and will need 4-6 months to produce and ship. Some details have not been finalized and are subject to change. The Moray 2 will not have a steel bracelet. The finished watches will be shipped from the United States. If your country charges import taxes or VAT you will need to budget that into the final cost. We do not lower the value on customs forms, so please do not ask for this. When the Moray 2 is finished it will be for sale on this webpage.
