Thanks Tom!! It is a radio controlled watch that only automatically time syncs in Japan (JDM is Japanese Domestic Market) . The checkers on the dial and the chapter ring appear and disappear depending on the light. The hands do not set manually you must use the crown to start the motor and allow it to set itself. It cool but sometimes a pain in the ass. Something you don't see everyday......

Learned about what JDM stands for, and a ton more about this outstanding watch. Think it's something James Bond would really enjoy wearing.
