Hey everybody, looks like Omega will be unveiling a new X-33 coming up at Basel. The Speedmaster
Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse which is named after the Solar Impulse project led by Bertrand Piccard
since 2006, and will have a circumnavigation of the planet in March.
The watch has a 45 mm titanium case, liquid crystal display, blue ceramic bezel, functions like perpetual
calendar, triple time zones, countdown, three different alarms, and more. Movement is the calibre 5619
quartz which is thermo-compensated, and it's all strapped to the wrist with a nice blue, and green NATO
strap. Looks to be limited to 1924 too guys. The same year the first round-the-world flight took place.
Have a look everyone...
