Just seeing this terrific article about railroad watches at Wound for Life everybody. It talks about how
railroad watches were actually the very first "tool watches" because of the importance of their accuracy,
precision, and reliability with the safety of railroads. ..Many different watch brands are mentioned also
from William Bond and Son to Dennison, Elgin, The American Watch Co., Waltham, Ball Watch Company,
Bulova, and more. The transition from pocket to wrist watches is even covered.
