Guys, here is some news from Glycine about the release of three new Airman watches. The Airman No. 1
will be very faithful to the original 1953 model with a 36 mm case, 3-hand 24 hour dial for two timezones, or
a 4-hand 24 hour dial for 3 timezones. There's even a nice acrylic domed crystal, and NATO everyone.
Next up is the DC-4 which pays tribute to the Douglas DC-4 transport used from WWII to the 1960's as both
transport, and airliner. This Airman has a 42 mm case, sapphire crystal, up-right facing numbers, 24 hour index,
minutes, and seconds railroad track outer ring, NATO strap, and more.
The final Airman is the 'Double Twelve" is the first Airman model to use both a 3-hand 12 hour movement, and
12 hour bezel which is easier to read, and also more classic. Cases are 40 mm, with 12 hour bezels, sapphire
crystals, locking crowns at the 4 o'clock position, unique wide hands, dial variations in red, blue, and black, and
what looks like nice leather straps.
Movements are still unknown with all of the watches it seems guys. Could be ETA 2824-2 variations.
Some pictures everybody...
