I've had it a couple of years, I have a gold colored on as well....Best looking watch HMT ever made! (IMHO)

Trisul means Trident in Indian, the weapon of Shiva...the three marks at 12 o'clock represent the Trident.

1. The trishul is the primary weapon of Lord Shiva and was also used as a weapon of his ten-armed consort Maa Durga. It is probably the most powerful weapon mentioned in Hindu mythology along with Vishnu’s Sudarshan Chakra.
2. The three pointed blades of the Trishul represent Brahma, Vishnu and Lord Shiva himself and are said to hold their divine energy.

Gary, holy cow !     Had thought this watch was insanely nice before, but now after reading
all of this terrific information about it, think it's even cooler !!!  

We really don't see may HMT's, or get a chance to get such great insight like this every day.
