Do you guys remember Reuge? Along with them teaming up with MB&F to build the Music machines?
Now the company is celebrtating 150 years of building music boxes which are evidently very close to watches
in a lot of ways. After being founded back in 165 in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland by Charles Reuge, the company
made pocket watches with musical complications. Later when moving into music boxes, artisans still used many
of the same techniques used in watchmaking in creating watch boxes.
Now to celebrate their 150th anniversary the brand is releasing a limited edition music box that has movement
that holds 72 different notes, on one cylinder in three different groups, and plays three melodies.
