Casio's new G-Shock MR-G Hammer Tone LE

Has everyone seen this new Casio G-Shock by chance?

The Casio G-Shock MR-G Limited Edition Hammer Tone MRGG1000HT uses a Japanese technique
called Tsuichi (Tsu-i-ki) where the steel is hammered creating cool patterns on everything from the
bezel, to bracelet.

It has a 54.7 mm DLC hardened titanium decorated case, and bracelet with akagane, and oborogin
accents. Plus shock resistant tough solar movement with 6-band GPS, world time with 40 timezones,
perpetual calendar, stopwatch, countdown timer, airplane mode, latitude indicator, and LED illumination
for the display just to name some of the specs everyone.

The $1000 plus metal g's were bad enough. Now we have a $6,200 G-Shock.

Anyway I respect the metal working tradition and all that, but much like a 24 KT gold Timex...this may be the watch nobody is asking for. Sure some rich guys will buy them all up....but why waste the time and effort on a G-Shock?

I need to go find a Fiat 500, hand-hammered and hand-fitted body panels, all whale-penis leather inside, with solid gold wheel rims on it. Then think I could enjoy this G-Shock, while driving my new car.

Was wondering though, have you looked into the rich Corinthian leather for the Fiat instead?
