Depends on where in the world you are. Overall, I would say Omega, or maybe Citizen, or maybe Seiko.

I think everyone has hit the nail on the head here ! Timex has to be up there in terms of everyone recognizing the name for years now. Also Citizen and Seiko are way up there as well. Maybe even Pulsar, Bulova, Movado or Swiss Army ! In my opinion they are most recognized because when you go to a store, they are usually in display cases ! Omega and Breitling are recognized by real fans of watches as well !

I think all answers sound good...I am going with Omega since many people associate it with 007....Thats my vote....
