Have you guys seen this one? It's Omega's Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep
Professional, and it's supposed to be the world's deepest dive watch.
With the watch actually going along on Adventurer Victor Vescovo's submersible
dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench earlier this May. Diving to an incredible
10,928m in depth. Thanks to the watch actually having case body, case back,
bezel, and crown constructed out of cutoffs of the submersibles titanium hull,
and wide viewport-like sapphire crystal.
In addition, you even have the use of liquid metal to avoid the use of polymer
seals, and give better sapphire to case body assembly. As well as special Manta
lugs, METAS certified chronometer movement, and it's all tested to 15,000m.
A few pics for you...
