Thanks Tom, this one is special in so many ways. Like any good watch it reminds me of the day I bought it, where I bought it and the rather cool guy who sold it to me. He is gone and his shop is gone...but all the memories live on. It also has it's own cool history....named for an Italian ski town, it never sold well, (they say because of the Ford Cortina was a POS and released just before the watch) there were only a couple of versions of this first gen Cortina and it is generally thought that less than 500 total were made. It also is a cool movement, with a micro rotor buried inside, an improvement on the original Cal 11 that was developed with Heuer, Breitling, Hamilton-Buren, Dubois-Depraz that was the first automatic chronograph developed in 1969. (just beating barely Seiko). He anyway it's cool and I love it.

Hey, thank YOU Gary for filling me in on these ! WRUW Sunday 4/19/2020 46145 WRUW Sunday 4/19/2020 933578 Had no idea about any of that. Just love
how you remember the day you got, and the person, and shop like that. It really is something how
amazing this hobby is. The way it is not only an unbelievably cool interest to have, but then connects
to people, events, history, and basically everything is fantastic really. Can imagine every time this one
is on the wrist, you think of the man who sold it to you, but even that neat ski town, but maybe try
to forget the car right?!  cheers Holy cow, and talk about limited edition sir !!!  cyclops That makes an already
impressive watch go to another level, and become even more special. Plus it even happens to have
a rare movement?! It's incredible G, and just so much fun to learn about, and to of course have in
the collection for you. Can see why you love it ! WRUW Sunday 4/19/2020 803574 WRUW Sunday 4/19/2020 803574 Thanks a ton once again Gary, and enjoy !!!
