Guys, did you hear about this? Or see this new concept that helps to celebrate Grand Seiko's 60th Anniversary?
Looks like Seiko has done it again, and created the world's most accurate mechanical movement, in the T0 concept movement. A movement that is not only Seiko's first tourbillon. But is the first to integrate a tourbillon with a constant-force mechanism too. Achieving accuracy to within less than half a second per day.
Seiko used their proprietary MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) to manufacturer all of the components. Even creating new hardening coatings to protect the movement's parts against friction.
