From my experience as you wear high end watches more, you become less concerned about blemishes.

It's good you can wear and just enjoy the Breitling now, without getting stressed out about hitting it or scratching something ! Sounds like a lived in look isn't so bad after all. Also down the road any real scratches can be polished out. Really the Sea Wolf sounds kind of bullet proof in build quality.
