I like the black date but it's super small on that dial. Cool story. It's a a nice watch but doesn't make me say "I gotta have it". I honestly feel like I am looking at a Bulova snorkel when I see it:

What a terrific comparison Gary !

It really does have a Bulova Snorkel vibe to it like you are saying.
I didn’t connect the two at first, but now totally see it.

Am wondering if that date will be larger on the actual model too Gary.
It should be fun to see if they do make any changes, and if they add
any new variations also possibly.

One thing is for sure, it’s always incredibly fun hearing what you have
to say about things sir !!!
