Blancpain’s new Fifty Fathoms Tech Gombessa

Okay this one is a little up there with it’s price tag.

But it’s still an honest to goodness joy to see or find out about.

The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech Gombessa was created with the
help of marine biologist and award winning underwater photographer.
And in helping to celebrate the Fifty Fathoms 70th Birthday, the watch
gets the world’s first three hour timing bezel. Along with an “absolute
black” dial which captures 97% of the light, plus makes the hands
and markers even more visible.

In addition to the new kind of bezel and dial, the watch has a 47mm
satin brushed titanium case, 300m WR, black rubber strap, Blancpain
13P8 and much more.

Oh man, I didn’t even think about that G.

I guess someone could make a customized strap, or Blancpain could
or should supply a lifetime of replacements for customers. But yeah,
if one wanted to change things up that would be an issue.
