| I just bought my Vortex and it has no date. It doesn't bother me at all...come on, I have the date on my computer, the date on my blackberry...and I can still remember things (believe it or not) like the day of the month. Soooooooo....no it doesn't bother me. Would I want this on all of my watches.? NO, absolutely not -- this is because the date often adds something to the design of the dial. ____________________________________ M A R K

| Day Date is probably the best and my choice, but sometimes less is more. . . - Docrwm wrote:

| I too prefer a date window and won't generally buy one without it. HOWEVER!!! If it's a dress watch, then no date is fine. I don't need to know what the date is when I'm out on the town or in an interview or otherwise concerned with more important things. But yes, I prefer a date. My no date watches. All of these I straight up stole from Pop. | |

| Yes..I would get a watch without a date window ! I basically enjoy watches, so even though it's probably more practical to have a date window, if it's a watch I would get it ! Many times I find myself not even paying attention to the date window, because I'm looking at the entire watch as a whole ! | |
